@ Kitchener Public Library | Join us as we explore the beautiful KPL with an iPad in hand. We’ll help you figure out the best ways to handle its camera, where to point and how to shoot. And to make sure you’re taking the best photos possible we’ll be talking about composition, light, depth of field and how to finish your photos making them AWESOME. Ages 6 to 12

Sat, Sept 10th (10am to 4pm)

@ Maker Expo | IAS coordinator Jason Panda and fellow art educator, Anestis Papoutsis, invite you to learn about the project and see some AMAZING past work. We’ll also invite you to JUMP for Maker Expo as you learn about studio lighting and help us create a HUGE collaborative photo mural. No experience necessary… In fact we’ll give you some pointers as you go. All ages welcome to this free event!

Tues, Sept 27th (4 to 6pm)

@ KW Art Gallery | We’re starting our Art Gallery visits with a return to the Youth Council. Together we’ll talk about the project, brainstorm on how to engage more youth and we’ll also play with studio lights. Open to all Youth Council Members!

@ KW Art Gallery | Bring your camera, pick up some photography tips, network with other educators and take home photography related resources and ideas on how to connect your students to our regional collection and show. Educators: Register with KW Art Gallery
